A notable Italian red wine

Due Santi Rosso is made from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes grown on the Eugene Constantin Campus of the University of Dallas just outside of Rome.

The ancient soils and hillside orientation coupled with the maritime breeze create an extraordinary growing environment for these classic grape varieties.

frequently asked questions

What states do you ship to?

We can ship to all 50 states.

When will my wine ship?

We don't ship the wine between June and October due to high temperatures that may damage the wine. Outside of this timeframe, the wine ships weekly.

Can you tell me more about the wine?

The 2015 is a complex bottle of wine. The blend of 50% merlot and 50% cabernet sauvignon suggests a wine of Right Bank Bordeaux pedigree but with an Italian absence of fussiness. This wine has a pervasive flinty, smoky character that underscores the obvious cherry fruit and bright currant on the nose.

This is a wine built for meals and for the cellar. While easy to enjoy on its own, Due Santi Rosso would benefit from three to five years of cellaring and perhaps a 45-minute decant prior to serving. The wine is 100% organically grown and produced and will carry the organic certification from 2017.
